At Woodhouse Community Primary School, we want children to be prepared for life after school as well as learning academic subjects. This involves developing skills and attitudes for independence and looking ahead to the future and the world of work.
We have been included in the North East Ambition Primary pilot and have developed our careers programme through this, with aims to link to the Career Benchmarks included therein.
Our classes take part in dedicated Careers and Aspirations lessons and this is supplemented with links being drawn and explored through everyday teaching.
