Geography at Woodhouse Community Primary School
At Woodhouse Community Primary School, we intend to inspire and ignite the curiosity of our pupils by encouraging them to have a fascination with the world in which we live. We intend that our pupils will develop their locational knowledge (locally, nationally and internationally), understand physical processes and gain an appreciation of the diverse people and places of our world. We aim to develop confident geographers who are able to communicate effectively using topic specific vocabulary, interpret geographical sources and information and find enjoyment in exploring the natural world around them. At Woodhouse Community Primary School, our pupils’ learning will be supported and enhanced with trips and fieldwork with strong links to our local environment.
